Forest Park

The 5,000-acre Forest Park is the largest forested city park in the country, providing more than 70 miles of interconnecting trails for runners, hikers, and bicyclists. The Park stretches for nearly eight miles along the northeast slope of the Tualatin Mountains between NW Skyline Boulevard and NW St. Helens Road (Hwy. 30). The 30-plus mile long Wildwood Trail traverses the Park.

I head an enjoyable run through a small portion of the park. The view of the forest and the immense trees was stimulating.
